Dr. Tav attended UC Santa Barbara and received a Bachelor of Science with honors. Soon after, she received early admission to UC Berkeley’s School of Optometry and obtained her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.

Her dream of moving to San Diego came true after graduation. Twenty years later, she has deepened her personal and professional background by working in multiple settings: private practice, chain retail locations, low-income community clinics, as a lease owner in a retail setting, and in ophthalmology — including cornea specialty, cataract management, and LASIK.

Currently, Dr. Tav practices at 3 San Diego locations and consults for a global contact lens manufacturer.
